Registration requests usually take 2 working days to process however if you immediately need to use our services please contact the surgery and we will escalate your registration. If you provide us with a mobile number you will be sent a SMS text once your account is live.
We ask all new patients to complete either the online or paper registration which includes a Health Questionnaire. When a patient registers with a Practice it can take some time for medical notes to be transferred from the previous practice so its very important for the form to be completed accurately so that we can monitor any conditions appropriately.
We prefer patients to register online but if you would like to come into the practice we ask patients to attend weekdays after 10am and before 4pm. You may wish to download and complete the registration forms prior to attending the Surgery. Paper Registration
As a practice we have decided not to participate in the NHS Out of Area Registration process that was launched in Jan 2015 as we do not believe it’s operationally safe or in the best interest of the registering patient. Our practice ethos is that you are assigned a registered GP who takes ownership and responsibility for your care and we would not want to delegate any responsibility to another provider to respond to your urgent home visit request/s. Our local LMC and GPC are questioning whether the launch was rolled out correctly and whether systems are robust enough to provide a safe and adequate home visiting service. Therefore if you live outside of our Practice area, please see the NHS website for help in finding a GP Surgery closer to you.
