Provision of medical services outside surgery hours is the responsibility of Hampshire Primary Care Trust.
The Out of Hours Service telephone number is: 111
This is the new NHS 111 service. Your call will be answered by an experienced healthcare provider in Out of Hours medical services. They will need the following information from you:
- Personal details
- Basic information about your problem

The surgery is closed over Bank Holidays and Weekends. We do offer additional pre-bookable routine appointments late evening (usually Tuesdays) and on some Saturday mornings but other administrative services (ordering/collecting prescriptions, making appointments, general telephone enquiries) are not available. Please see ‘Consulting Times’ for more information.
Surgeries are staggered during the working day, to offer you a wide choice of surgery times
An Emergency Surgery is held by the Duty Doctor from 9.00am – 11.00am and every evening from 4.30 p.m.
MHH GP Access hub
We are alos able to offer appointments every evening from 5pm to 8pm and at the weekend 8am to 12 midday for our registered patients. Appointments are available with a GP, Practice Nurse or Healthcare Assistant, MSK Physio and Mental Health adviser. The clinician will have access to your own GP records (with your permission) and will be able to organise blood tests, X-rays and referrals. A copy of the consultation will go back into your medical record. GP appointments are 15 minutes in length. To book, please call The Adelaide Medical Centre during our usual opening hours.
