There is separate advice about:
Do not leave your home if you have either:
To protect others, do not go to places like a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. Stay at home.

We require your repeat prescription re-order form to have arrived at the surgery at least two working days before you can collect your prescription. You may post, send, bring or EMail to
your re-order form. Please remember it is your responsibility to re-order in good time. It is not always possible for us to action "urgent" requests.
We regret that we cannot accept telephone requests for repeat prescriptions for reasons of safety.
If you supply a stamped addressed envelope your prescription will be returned to you. Certain chemists in the town will, if you request, collect your prescription and arrange for your medication to be delivered to your home.
Remember to order enough of your Repeat Medication to cover you over a Bank Holidays when the Surgery will be closed.
Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs). The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines. Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.
From 1 April 2019, the charges are:
If you will have to pay for four or more prescription items in three months, or more than 14 items in 12 months, you may find it cheaper to buy a PPC. The charge for a single prescription item is £9.00, whereas a three month PPC will cost you £29.10 and a 12 month PPC £104.00.
If you are purchasing a 12 month prepayment certificate you can also spread this cost over 10 months by paying by direct debit.
There is further information about prescription exemptions and fees on the NHS website
Please remember to order your medication in time to allow for Bank Holidays
