Morning all,

Please be aware that the NHS is currently experiencing a significant IT outage.

Cloudflare technology, which is used by many of our IT system providers, is affected by a worldwide outage.

How this is affecting us:

  • Telephones: Our phone lines are currently temperamental, which may result in longer wait times or connection issues. If you experience problems reaching us by phone, please contact us via accuRx online consultation through our website.
  • Phlebotomy appointments: Patients with blood-taking appointments may need to be postponed, as our ICE blood request system is unstable.
  • General appointments: Some appointments may be delayed due to the knock-on impact of this outage.

This is a worldwide issue and is being treated as a high priority by Cloudflare.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience. As this situation is outside of our control, we kindly ask that you remain patient with our staff should delays occur.

Thank you for your understanding.
